TEN-YEAR LIMITED warranty

Capital Granite, Inc. warrants to you, the owner of the original installation, that upon the following terms and conditions, Capital Granite, at its option, will repair or replace your stone surface, without charge, if Capital Granite determines that the product has failed due to any defect in fabrication or installation during the first ten (10) years from the installation date.

In addition, Capital Granite will also warrant the following: 

  • Seam performance for two (2) years
    from date of installation

  • Caulk performance for one (1) year
    from date of installation

GENERAL WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • This warranty only applies to natural or engineered stone surfaces that have been fabricated and installed by Capital Granite, Inc., and have not been moved or altered from the original state of installation.

  • This warranty will be effective once the finished product is installed and paid in full.

  • This warranty only applies to our workmanship. It does not protect against those who regret their design and/or material choice.

  • This warranty does not cover damage caused by physical, chemical, or other abuse, normal wear and tear, acts of nature, neglect, stains, scratches, pits or chips. Natural stone is a product of nature and contains natural imperfections such as fissures, fractures, inconsistencies, and variations in color and pattern within a given slab, and from slab to slab. Although we avoid and correct as many of these imperfections as we can, Capital Granite has no control over the existence of these irregularities and therefore will not warrant or assume liability for any natural aesthetics found in the finished product. In addition, stone materials are porous and while they can be highly resistant to staining and scratching, it is not a guarantee. All natural stone surfaces will be sealed prior to installation to aid in resistance to staining.   • This warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of stone surfaces covered by this warranty. Capital Granite will repair any area of the installation that is determined by Capital Granite to be defective. Capital Granite will cover the cost of the product and the labor involved in the removal and replacement of the original installation. You will be responsible for any other costs associated with or arising out of the repair or replacement. Should Capital Granite elect to replace the stone surface, the warranty will continue from the original date of installation and not from the date of repair or replacement.

OTHER WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Engineered stone is a controlled byproduct of the manufacturer. All raw material quality issues for engineered stone will default to the manufacturer’s warranty.

  • All kitchen accessories such as sinks & faucets are also a byproduct of the manufacturer. Any defects to said products must be handled through the manufacturer directly.

  • Any work serviced by Capital Granite will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
